3D Printed Rockets

Electronicity

I modelled RocketLab's Electron rocket this past week. I went back over a lot of publicly accessible google photos and RocketLabs own press releases and web site documentation. This first version is a one piece, glued together, nice looking rocket. I modelled the Rutherford engine from several photos. Printing them at 1/34 ratio proved to be a real pain as the engine bay was so fragile I ended up snapping/breaking a couple of engines accidentally on the first 3 prints (3x18hours = Sad face * 3)

Anyway, I now have the 3D models, and some experience with the fragile printed engines and so I present:

New youtube channel "Rockets After Work"

I have started a youtube channel - "Rockets After Work" - that catalogues rocket modelling, 3D printing and making these rockets. Hopefully it helps other, after work, DIY rocket makers. The rockets I make will be on sale shortly after I finish them. I am not sure if I will call the this Rockets after work/dark or 9pm

Anyway here it is...

After months and months of research, test prints and super-glued together fingers, my space Rocket models are now available to order. Each model is custom made and will be unique.
