Because Procedures depend on independent sub-components Risky Business SOS has included advanced data linking intelligence to allow administrators to be aware of changes to interconnected objects. For example, a Procedure includes a chemical substance that was known to be controlled at the time the Procedure was created. Later, new government research has caused the chemical to be reclassified as more dangerous with new first aid protocols.
The Risky Business SOS administrator needs only update the chemical properties in the Chemical Substance library and all Procedures using the chemical will automatically receive the updated information. If the change was major, the linked Procedures will be moved to pending manager approval status and alert the Safety Officers involved that they need to re-evaluate the updated Procedure.
